We stayed at the
Zambezi Sun Resort which resided on the Zambia size of Victoria Falls. It was an eclectic African vibe hotel complete with wild zebra
and baboons. The hotel was set right on the banks of the Zambezi
river and was just a short path walk from the falls.

We spent most of the afternoon enjoying the beauty of the falls from the Zambia side of the river.

After our day at the falls we headed to
our next adventure which was a houseboat (called a safari boat) on the Chobe River. The boat
was registered with the country of
Namibia but we would have to pass
thru
Botswana on our way to the houseboat. Yes my passport is getting full! It was a crazy intimidating two hour
ride through the two chaotic border towns and finally to our
destination. Thank goodness for our guides or I am not sure we would have figured out how to traverse through the maze of customs and visa offices.

We ended our day watching the elephant herds graze along the Chobe river as the sun set.
